VISIT IRELAND WITH ITS 40 SHADES OF GREEN

THE LAND OF SAINTS AND SINGERS .  HOME TO MUSIC AND DANCING.  GUINNESS AND SINGING PUBS.  THE CRAIC AND A WARM WELCOME.  IF YOU HAVE BEEN BEFORE THEN WELCOME BACK.  IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO IRELAND BEFORE THEN YOU WILL LOVE IT.  JUST ASK ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN THERE.

Ireland is a close neighbour and it is surprising that so many people have never been there.  It takes only a few hours to cross the Irish sea on the variety of car ferries available.  The people all speak English and drive on the same side of the road.  There is a lot less traffic than there is in England and the scenery is absolutely fantastic.Just check on the search engine lower down this page how easy it is to book a ferry and plan your trip.  Oh, you will need euros though.

Clew Bay in Country Mayo Ireland. In this bay is the famous Clare Island former home of Grainne O'Malley the pirate Queen.  From the shores of Clew Bay rises the holy mountain, Crough Patrick better known as The Reek.  On the last Sunday in July many pilgrims, some barefoot, climb 762M. (2507') to the church at its summit.

Port Magee is a lovely little fishing village in County Kerry.  All along the Irish coast are little places like this.

Ireland is a beautiful country and, because of all the songs written about it almost everyone is familiar with a lot of Irish place names.  When you visit Ireland you will understand why so many emigrants pined for home.
